Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) berencana mengumumkan hasil Rekapitulasi Nasional Pemilihan Umum Presiden (Pilpres) 2014, besok (Selasa, 22/7/2014). Namun, pengumuman hasil suara pilpres bakal terlaksana sesuai jadwal jika rekapitulasi 11 provinsi tersisa dapat rampung malam ini.
"Besok, kalau sesuai jadwal, jam 4 sore sudah bisa diumumkan. Kalau jadwal kita seperti itu, bagaimana besok ya, kita lihat perkembangan malam ini," ujar Komisioner KPU Arief Budiman di Kantor KPU, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jakarta Pusat, Senin (21/7/2014).
Hingga pukul 20:00 malam ini, KPU telah menetapkan hasil rekapitulasi suara di 22 provinsi. Rapat pleno rekapitulasi masih diskors untuk berbuka puasa dan menunaikan ibadah salat magrib.
Hasil rekapitulasi 22 provinsi menyebutkan Jokowi-JK meraih suara lebih banyak dibanding Prabowo-Hatta. Jokowi-JK meraup sebanyak 41.127.377 suara, sedangkan Prabowo meraih 38.892.978 suara. Selisih suara sebanyak 2.234.399 suara.
