PEMERINTAH TETAPKAN HARI LIBUR NASIONAL DAN CUTI BERSAMA 2017
Jakarta (14/04) – Pemerintah menyepakati draft Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama tahun 2017. Pembahasan dan penandatanganan SKB tersebut difasilitasi oleh Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan Puan Maharani di Kantor Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan, Jakarta. Turut hadir dalam acara ini adalah Menteri Tenaga Kerja Hanif Dhakiri, Menteri Agama Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, dan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Yuddy Chrisnandi.
Pengaturan Cuti Bersama dan Hari Libur Nasional telah diatur di dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 24 Tahun 1976 dan Keputusan Presiden Nomor 24 Tahun 1976 dan Keputusan Presiden Nomor 3 Tahun 1983.
Cuti/cuti tahunan merupakan hak bagi pegawai yang harus dihargai dan dihormati. Untuk kepentingan bersama, perlu diatur oleh Pemerintah, dan jumlah hari Cuti Bersama adalah mengurangi jumlah hari cuti tahunan.
Tujuan dilakukan pengaturan Cuti Bersama dan Hari Libur Nasional adalah: 1) peningkatan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pemanfaatan hari kerja, hari libur, dan Cuti Bersama sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, dan 2) peningkatan sektor pariwisata dalam negeri yang mempunyai dampak peningkatan ekonomi.
Jumlah Hari Libur Nasional dan Cuti Bersama tahun 2017 yaitu sebanyak 19 hari, dengan rincian Hari Libur Nasional sebanyak 15 hari dan cuti bersama sebanyak 4 hari untuk Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1438 Hijriah dan Hari Raya Natal.

The discussion and signing of the decree facilitated by the Coordinating Minister of Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Jakarta.
