Kecamatan Langgudu merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Bima yang terletak pada ketinggian 5 mdpl memiliki luas wilayah 285,51 Km2 dan jumlah penduduk sebanyak 26.572 jiwa. Kecamatan Langgudu berbatasan langsung dengan Kecamatan Wawo di sebelah Utara, Laut Indonesia di sebelah Selatan, Kecamatan Belo di sebelah Barat serta Kecamatan Sape di sebelah Timur. Secara administratif Kecamatan langgudu terbagi dalam 15 wilayah yang terdiri dari 12 desa dan 3 Unit pemukiman transmigrasi setingkat desa. Adapun luas wilayah dan jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Langgudu dirinci per Desa menurut “Kecamatan Langgudu Dalam Angka Tahun 2009” dapat dilihat pada tabel dibawah ini.
